Sadly the deadliest aircraft in a aircraft crash in South Korea. I know you are been studying the footage for us having a look at it all day for us. What are your assessment at this hour? Well I’m pretty shocking actually because whatever happened to the airplane which meant that the pilot couldn’t get the flaps and gear down for the landing was not actually, what caused the death of the passenger. The passengers were killed by hitting a solid structure Just over the end of the runway where a solid structure should not be.
That solid structure contained the instrument landing system antenna which does need to be there because it guides in bad weather and if course, this is very good weather. The bad weather in bad weather atena. Guides the aircraft to the runway you know when the pilot can’t see into the last second
Those antennas are normally Just stuck in the ground and they are collapse. So that if you go over the end of the runway that the antenna collapse and don’ts cause the aircraft, any damage we can see the aircraft running into this structure and Just crimping and exploding. We can see the afternoon on the screens now that huge prima black smoke and of course that the Flames that explosion is interesting that you say that’ a big thing to say they would have to say that the country is deputy transmit minister.

But anyway he had to land particularly fast that’ why the aircraft went over.
End of the runway that’ why because aircraft occasionally will go over the end. You don’t put solid structure immediately in the overturn but that’ what happened here. Yeah and as you say that the landing of belly circle, belly landing was a very good one. It was a very good one and if you watch it minutely All the way down the runway to the aircraft The bit of smoke coming off from the friction with the runway.

Tye the pilot decided to abandon the first attempt to land. And having done that he The went to the having taken off at the far end. He then turned round came back landed on the same runway from the opposite direction but that landing that we have seen on video no damage came to the airplane unusual to make a second attempt knowing that you’ll hydraulics of falling and not necessarily alerting. That’s the pilot you know they clarified and the voice recorder the conversion between the pilot. You know they made the pilot knew he had a real problem and he didn’t have much if the time.
