Blue Origin Poised First Orbital Launch spaceX
In spaceX well Big news in space Exploration, Blue origin, the space company founded by Amazon jeff Bezos is about to launch it’s first ever orbital rocket. 8th this marks a Big movement and a moment for the company, which has been working on the project For years.
Scheduled for launch on January 8th from Cape canaveral in Florida. The rocket is called New. Glenn blue origins Glenn is over 320 feet tall which is about as tall as a 30- story. Building much taller than spaceX has fallen 9 which is only about 230 feet. The rocket can carry around 5200 kilograms of weight.
The January, 8th flight will be a test flight. It Will carry a prototype satellite into space. A prototype satellite test New ways to repair service and refuel other satelite in space. This is blue origins first time sending a rocket into orbit. It’s a big step for the company which until now had mostly done sub- orbital flights which is Short trips to the edge of space.
So what does this mean for spaceX well, Elon Musk company Has dominated the commercial space market For years with its Falcon 9 rocket spaceX has become known for sending satelites into space and even carrying astronauts to the international space station But now blue origin is ready to compete. The new Glenn rocket is reusable and simply put parts of the rocket can be used again for future launches. This is similar to how spaceX as Falcon. 9 rocket works New blends first stage, the bottom part of the rocket will return to earth after launch and land on a special ship in the ocean, making it cheaper and more reliable for future flights.
SpaceX has a head start blue origins, New Glenn, could give them a run their money. The space industry is growing fast and more competition. Could mean lower costs and more options for customer including NASA , both Musk and Bezos are passionate about space but they have different goals.
Must wants to colonize Mars while Bezos dreams of buliding floating colonies in space. Despite being founded two years earlier, blue origin has taken a More cautious approach, but with New Glenn, they are ready to step it up .
